So when I'm not busy blogging/fantasizing/obsessing over all things design, I spend my time working at the absolutely fabulous Helena's in Arlington, MA. Our little boutique is a hidden gem located in the center of town, full of totally unique clothing, jewelry, and accessories. I love everything in this place! Just like with interior design, I love the idea of mixing basic, everyday pieces, with more offbeat stuff that you don't see everywhere, and that's exactly what you can do here. Tons of beautiful casual wear that can easily be dressed up or down, and great statement jewelry that can make a simple tee look like a million bucks. And if you're a mom, or mom-to-be, the deal gets even sweeter. We just so happen to be located right smack dab in the middle of two equally awesome stores. Our massive building is like Mecca for mommies; pick up your new UPPAbaby stroller at Wild Child, take a baby yoga class at Isis Maternity, then finish it all off by picking up some goodies for yourself in our (Best of Boston 2008 awarded!) maternity section. One stop shopping at its best!
